Covid ‐ 19
Prior to attending training and matches, all players, officials, volunteers and spectators should undergo a self‐assessment for any Covid‐19 symptoms. No‐one should leave home to participate in any type of rugby activity if they, or someone they live with, has any of the following Covid‐19 symptoms:
■ A high temperature
■ A new, continuous cough
■ A loss of, or change to, their sense of smell or taste.
Should an individual exhibit any such symptoms, they should follow NHS and PHE guidance on self‐isolation with immediate effect.
During the training sessions there will be regular breaks to clean equipment and to allow players to use hand sanitiser, please ensure you bring your own bottle with you.
Track and Trace
The club has set up the ‘SPOND’ app to aid correspondence between age group administrators, players and parents.
The app will also register attendance for each training session. The club asks all players, parents and visitors to the ground to download the app and create your own login, some of you may have already received this but everyone we have on our database should receive a message or email confirming a link to the clubs ‘SPOND’ account.
You will then, through the app be able to see the next session for your age group and confirm if you will be attending. This confirmation is based on the understanding that you have completed the self‐assessment for Covid 19 symptoms and that you are not showing symptoms or have been in contact with anyone who has shown symptoms.
